I came in on a recommendation from a friend to buy a package for our new house. They took as much time as needed to find the right style and package deal for us. I would recommend to anyone!
Very disappointed with my experience there today. I was told that this is the place to go if you need advice with simple appliance repairs, that the owner is amazing. Instead of advice and awesomeness, I got rudeness and a lecture. I had ordered the part I needed online on my own because it was quite literally 1/4 the price for the exact same part. Joe quickly informed me that this was not the right thing for me to do, basically berated me for it, you know, he needs to feed his kids too. I fully understand that this is one of the ways the business makes money but am shocked that he would be willing to lose a customer over a possible $5 profit from a part order. What Joe doesn't know is that while I was there to ask for advice I also had my eye on an adorable coffee table and was thinking about a purchasing a recliner as a Valentine's present. Better customer service and a little salesmanship could have easily had me leaving a lot lighter in the purse. Since I will not be purchasing anything else from Brummels I suppose I'll have to look online, probably save myself a few bucks.
(Oh, and my dryer works great now, Lowes was very happy to help me, so much for local!)
Amazing service! I got some very sound advice from the salesman even though it made it less likely for me to buy a new washer. This kind of integrity is rare and valuable in stores today.

Very poor to non existent service after the sale. My refrigerator quite working after about 6 months. They would not provide a loaner and were very rude on the phone. A service person came out and determined that he had to order a new compressor. The compressor came in and now I can't get them to tell me when they are coming back to install it.
