I had trouble breathing and severe headaches when I went to my doc and she didn't even do blood tests or a urine test. When my symptoms got unbearable I sent her a message and she made me an appointment for THREE WEEKS later. No concern whatsoever. I had a kidney infection. She even claimed she didn't get my ER records over a period of three months. Seriously? Do your job! Glad I didn't die from sepsis. She also prescribed high doses of Vitamin D for over a year and didn't monitor me properly or do her job at all. High levels for that long can make your body TOXIC. What a joke this place is. "Do no harm"? This facility is one of the most terrible in the West Michigan area. Even the people at the front desk are rude and seem to hate their job. You don't want to waste your time here!
Don't bother trying to call and make an apt, you will be on hold for an unheard of amount of time. I was a patient for YEARS (since they opened). I tried to get my child in as a new patient and missed my appt. (not by choice). They wouldn't have it and he was excluded from ever becoming a patient. Oh and there have been on several occasions that I had a message in for the nurse and NEVER got called back. Our whole family is going to another practice and it's glorious. I wouldn't bother with this place. They STINK.
If your not a patient for holland hospital don't expect anything except rudeness and disrespect. I threw my back out, i went here assuming they would help me with my level of pain. Not so much, after the Dr introduced himself and listened to why i was there he said "i don't like to prescribe pain medication" then proceeded to explain how he doesn't like muscle relaxers either. After checking my spine, making my leg jump (which is only extremely painful when you have a back related injury) he left the room, returns, sits down and says "I'm not really sure what your looking for here, what do you want me to do?"
Very clean and modern facility. Everyone that I've met on the staff is nice.
I do NOT recommend this facility. Pretty unprofessional and they misdiagnosed me. I went across the street to zeeland hospital for a second opinion and they recognized my condition right away.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME. So i simply said, for starters, make the pain go away, then maybe look as to what might be causing it. He sent me to pickup 12 Norco 5-325MG. 12 of them... his instructions were to take 1 tablet per 4 hours as needed for pain.. so i went to my Dr today and my pain is finally under control, i am taking 2 of the same, every 3 hours plus a muscle relaxer to help me overcome this. I injured my back on Saturday morning, today is Thursday. I am looking forward to a great night of sleep. Waking up every 3-4 hours in screaming pain all week is making me insane.
Next time i will wait for Zeeland to open
